Devon has been voted the best county for scenery, pubs, food heritage and green credentials, according to 'Country Life' magazine. Its rolling countryside, heritage sites and fireside pubs are legendary. There are numerous farm shops and local butchers as well as the usual stores and supermarkets. This part of north Devon will not disappoint - why not give it a try over a long weekend break.
