The extensive site is shared with Hartland Forest Golf Club and contains two large coarse fishing lakes.

Travelling west along A39 look for the village of Bucks Cross, indicated by speed restrictions & a sign for 'Merry Harriers' and Woolsery on the left. You now have two choices.
1. More straightforward but longer route.
Continue along the A39. Eventually you will reach a straight section of road going uphill. At the top there is a sign for Hartland Forest on the left, immediately followed by a left turn. Take this road, (narrow with passing places) reaching Gorven Cross farm on LHS. The road now bends right but continue straight on. You will soon see the entrance to the 'parc' on the right.
2. Much shorter but narrow lanes.
Go left following the signs to Woolsery (Woolfardisworthy). Once through the village you reach a T-junction with a primary school opposite. Turn right. Slowly follow the road soon reaching a left turn signed Clifford. Follow this narrow lane ignoring right and left lanes to where it bends sharp left, ignoring the road to the right. Keep left; eventually you will see the lodges on your left and the entrance to Hartland Forest.
From the entrance. Follow the road around to the left then immediately right into the car park. 'Forest View' (no. 89) is about central to the car park on right hand side.
