These will be held for one week pending completion and return of the booking form with deposit. The balance is due 1 month before the arrival date, without reminder. Non-payment will be regarded as a cancellation.

If you need to cancel please advise us in writing but phone immediately any problem arises. If we can re-let the lodge then the only cost to you will be a £25 processing fee. Other monies paid will be returned to you. If we are unable to re-let the lodge then the full amount paid will be forfeited. We will assist, where possible, with any claim you wish to make from your own insurance. Please arrange your own holiday insurance if required.

The lodge is normally available after 4:00 pm and departure expected by 10:00 am. If you are delayed and unable to arrive before 6:00pm then please phone the caretakers (details sent with booking confirmation). 

The lodge normally accommodates up to 6 guests (plus babies but you will need to bring your own cot and bedding). One well behaved dog is also welcome (please note site conditions for dogs). The number of guests must not exceed that stated on the booking form. Regrettably if this is exceeded extra occupants will be asked to leave. Please contact us if you later wish to add to your original booking.

We employ cleaners to ensure the lodge is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival but please ensure it is also left in reasonably clean condition. It is essential that crockery, kitchen utensils and cutlery are cleaned and returned. Any breakages should be reported to the caretakers. We reserve the right to charge for any damage. Please keep dogs off furniture and out of bedrooms. The site is not on mains drainage so a biological sewage system based on septic tank and reed beds has been installed. It is therefore essential that no chlorine based cleaning material is used in the lodge. Please use natural cleaning products such as the Ecover range.

In the unlikely event of the lodge being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, e.g. damage, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.

The use of accommodation and amenities is entirely at the Hirer's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the Hirer or the Hirer's companions or guests. Parents should note that the fishing lakes, ponds and streams are unfenced and supervise children in their vicinity. Please also read and comply with the warnings in the lodge regarding the golf course, also unfenced, which is in daily use. If you bring a dog it is essential that they are kept off the golf course and on a lead also that any mess is cleaned up immediately. Please supervise children in the play area.

A copy of these terms will be sent with each booking confirmation.
